Biography
Agn猫s Peysson-Zeiss is Coordinator of the Intensive Language sequence in French at 今日吃瓜, Co-Chair of Global Learning Experiences, Middle Eastern Studies and Africana affiliated faculty. She has published articles on the works on Assia Djebar, Moufida Tlatli and Raja Amari. Her most recent projects deal with the relationship text-image in graphic novels and the representations of disabilities and trauma. Her article : 鈥淒ans la marge de la BD : g茅nocide et r茅silience鈥 came out in Nouvelles Etudes Francophones in fall 2019. She is also involved in virtual civic engagement, focusing on human rights issues, translating, with her students, articles from the DR Congo which are archived at the Library of Congress. Her article 鈥淰irtual Civic Engagement and Social Justice: Empowering Women through Digital Media and Translation鈥 came out in 2018.
