The Platonist In Love: A Conversation On Art, Poetry, And Magic
The Department of Transnational Italian Studies cordially invites you to a roundtable on the relationships between art, philosophy, and medical humanities. The roundtable will take place on Dec. 9 from 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. in Carpenter Library B21. A reception will follow in the Quita Woodward room.
Starting with the topics of Tommaso Ghezzani's works and course entitled "What is Aesthetics? Theories of Art, Imagination, and Poetry" (ITALB221), students in the course will engage in conversation with the world-renowned visual artist Linda Karshan, who will offer insight through the perspective of a contemporary artist in conversation with Leopold Froehlich, senior editor of Lapham's Quarterly.
