Join the Data Science Program as Lada Kyj, Ph.D., discusses the current landscape of Ethics in Data Science and the new considerations due to the emergence of Artificial Intelligence.

Key areas include:

  • Transparency
  • Fairness
  • Trustworthiness

Kyj will conclude with an overview of initiatives underway to support the ethical deployment of AI within the statistics community.

Lada Kyj is the Fintech data science manager, Investment Management for Fintech Strategies, The Vanguard Group, and a member of the American Statistical Association (ASA) Committee on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and the ASA Ethics in AI Working Group.
