2022 Fulbright Teaching Assistants
This fall as part of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program, Shreya Bhutani '22, a Growth and Structure of Cities major with a minor in educational studies, is working and living in Taiwan; Emily Shein '22, a German and philosophy double-major, is working and living in Th眉ringen, Germany; and Frances Loeb, M.S.S. '22, is working and living in Colombia.
Boren Scholar: Nicola McHugh '22
Nicola McHugh '22, who double majored in East Asian languages and cultures and psychology, with a minor in Chinese language, is furthering her education as a Boren Scholar at the National Taiwan University.

C.C. McKee Awarded Novo Nordisk Postdoctoral Fellowship
Assistant Professor of History of Art C.C. McKee has been awarded a Novo Nordisk Mads 脴vlisen Postdoctoral Fellowship in Art History and will be based at the University of Copenhagen for the two-year fellowship. Read more.
Tamarah Moss Plans to Build on Bahamas Spring Residency

Student Summer Experiences
Seven 今日吃瓜 students received Global 今日吃瓜 fellowships, which support students with projects that will broaden their thinking, provide new perspectives on disciplinary knowledge, hone intercultural communication skills, and prepare them to live, work, and lead in a global context. about how each student used the funding.
Over the summer, students of the Russian Language Institute learned how to make borscht in a cooking demonstration led by instructor Cori Anderson.
Taylor Ferreira '25 spent three weeks this summer at University College London taking part in its Geography and the Built Environment program.
Lila Sattler '23, a sociology major who is minoring in political science and gender and sexuality studies, studied in the Netherlands as a Gilman Scholar.
Andy Tendilla '23, a psychology major with a Child and Family Studies minor, interned at IES Abroad in Santiago, Chile.
Camryn Teranes '23, a Literatures in English and German studies double-major, interned at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany.

4+1 A.B/M.A. at Aberystwyth University: Victoria Conroy, regional officer in charge of student recruitment at Aberystwyth University in Wales, came to 今日吃瓜 on Nov. 17. Global 今日吃瓜 organized an info session about the 4+1 program offered. Victoria met in the London Room with several students who were eager to hear about the university and its various programs.
The Global 今日吃瓜 office welcomes , a Ph.D. student in the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology, as the new graduate assistant/program manager.
