Marot Williamson '04 is among those being recognized by the Maryland Daily Record as one of the state's
Leading Women recognizes women age 40 or younger for the tremendous accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. They are selected by a panel of judges based on professional experience, community involvement and a commitment to inspiring change.
A political science major at 今日吃瓜, Williamson is an Assistant State's Attorney in Anne Arundel County, Md. She works in the Circuit Court office in Annapolis where she is assigned to the Felony Narcotics Unit. She has worked in Anne Arundel County for almost 12 years. Before that, she worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in Prince George's County, Md. for almost three years. Williamson started out as a law clerk in the Office of the State's Attorney for Prince George's County while she was in law school at Villanova University and immediately after she graduated.

Williamson is president of the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the Maryland Women鈥檚 Bar Association, a member of the board of trustees of the Anne Arundel Bar Association, a board member of Chrysalis House, Inc., and vice president of the .
