  • Being a Boston Posse and Breaking Barriers scholar.
  • Being a Summer Science Researcher over the summers of 2021 and 2022, where I worked with Professor Goldsmith on developing a bimetallic light harvesting system.
  • Being a Pulso Latino e-board member, dancer, and choreographer.
  • Living in the Enid Cook Center during the 2020-2021 academic year and being a part of the ECC community through Mujeres* and the ECC community board.
  • Being president of Mawrters for Immigrant Justice and advocating for undocumented students on-campus.
  • Living off-campus and learning how to drive!

Post-graduation plans: I will be pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainable Engineering at Villanova University with a full-tuition scholarship and a graduate assistantship position.

People you want to thank: Thank you to my advisors and mentors over the years: Dean Leslie Castrej贸n, my Posse mentor Dr. Anjali Thapar, my major advisor Dr. Lisa Watkins, and my thesis advisor Dr. Jonas Goldsmith. I also want to thank my parents, who supported me and gave me the opportunity to receive a college education. Finally, I want to thank my older brother for being the absolute best and for always being there for me.
