Class of 2019: Kellie Dinh

April 17, 2019
Kellie Dinh

Post-graduation plans: During the summer, Kellie will be interning at Vietcetera in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, before joining the news-discovery startup Dataminr in New York City in the fall as a software engineer.

Kellie on her ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï experience: Coming to ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï with many interests and directions I could choose to follow, I appreciated the opportunity to explore a variety of fields (Cities, art, engineering). I especially valued the small class size and room to grow, knowing that my professors and peers were invested in creating a positive learning environment. Above all, I am grateful for the incredible friendships I have made here at ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï and the memories I will cherish for life.

Major: Computer Science

Minor: Growth and Structure of Cities

Key ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Experiences:

  • Co-Founder and Organizer of SisterHacks Hackathon
  • Studio courses in architecture taught by Daniella Voith ’76
  • Praxis Independent Study in Accessibility in Technology
  • Help Desk Student Technician Lead in Canaday Library
  • Computer Science Teaching Assistant

Hometown: Jacksonville Beach, FL
