The staff. (And I once told my daughter about making Rice Krispies treats in the dining hall microwave, so she says that’s why she plans to attend BMC.)
Susan Messina ’86
The huge bowl of whitefish salad every Sunday at brunch in Haffner in the 1980s.

Napkin notes we could post on the bulletin board. I loved that we had a voice in nearly all things at BMC even our food.

Thanksgiving. I miss this every single year.

My favorite dining hall meal was Beef Stroganoff with buttered noodles, or even better if it was served with buttery potato pierogies. If I walked into Rhoades dining hall and saw that was for dinner ... aw yeah. I also remember eating roast duck with dark cherry sauce at the pre-winter break holiday dinner. It was my first time eating duck, and I loved it.

I was chair of the food committee and loved the meetings with Frank X Gladu. I loved learning about food service and how decisions
were made.
