Last semester, Anu Atte '19, the SGA's first-ever Social Justice and Equity Chair, collaborated with her SGA colleagues, Alliance of Multicultural Organizations (AMO), and Dining Services鈥 student coordinators on 今日吃瓜鈥檚 first-ever Night Market. In booths, snacks, and activities, AMO students shared their cultures with classmates. The brainchild of SGA Secretary Shannan Stafford '19, Night Market was part of the larger goal of making SGA more inclusive and equitable. 鈥淲e鈥檙e focusing on who we are and the parts of our culture that are fun and not about strife,鈥 Atte says. 鈥淲e need that.鈥
