Executive Board Candidates 2020

The following alumnae/i are up for election to the Alumnae Association Executive Board (except as noted).

Voting will take place at the Annual Meeting during Reunion Weekend, on May 31, 2020, on Merion Green. Terms are for three years, unless otherwise noted.

Sally Bachofer ’97
President Elect

Sally Bachofer ’97 is the Vice President of Wonderful Education, whose mission is to enable a lifetime of career opportunities by significantly increasing the number of college graduates in California’s Central Valley.  Funded by Lynda and Stewart Resnick, owners of The Wonderful Company, Wonderful Education serves 55,000 students, and partners with educational leaders, colleges, and teachers across 24 school districts to improve educational opportunities and enhance the quality of life for children. 

In 2010 Sally was appointed by the New York State Board of Regents to serve as Assistant Commissioner of Education.  She has also served as Senior Advisor and Vice President at City Year, Inc., and worked with Expeditionary Learning Schools; she started her career in public education with the San Diego Unified School District. 

Sally majored in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology and holds an Ed.M. in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.  She is a member of the fourth class of Aspen Education Fellows, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Sally previously served on the Alumnae Association Executive Board between 2010-2013, has acted as her class annual fund chair, and was a member of the Presidential Advisory Council.  

Erica Seaborne ’09

Erica Seaborn

Erica Seaborne '09 is Manager of Strategic Philanthropy at the law firm Polsinelli in New York City. She focuses her work on providing strategic counsel and operations support to tax-exempt organizations, philanthropists, and social entrepreneurs. As a long-time volunteer for the College, Erica has served as a member of the GOLD Committee, co-chair of the LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group, ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Fund Class Chair, and has presented on panels for both Admissions and the Career & Civic Engagement Center. In addition, Erica previously served on the AAEB as a Member at Large from 2014-2017.

Cate Megley ’08

Cate Megley â€˜08 is a brand strategist at Invesco, a global asset manager. Previously, Cate spent five years at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management developing new brand identity systems and client journeys. 

A lifelong  New Yorker, Cate has been a devoted career development representative and resource for ½ñÈճԹϠalumnae/i in NYC since 2015 and recently helped develop the Meet a Mawrter: 1,000 Coffees initiative. In her spare time she enjoys the tasty perks of marrying a food writer and chef who also happens to be a Haverford alum.

Donna Vogel ’71
At Large Representative

Donna is a scientist with specialty interests in reproductive medicine and infertility. After 25 years at the National Institutes of Health and eight at Johns Hopkins Medicine, she currently works part-time at Hopkins and as an independent science career educator, giving talks and workshops on professional skill-building and career development. She has volunteered for ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï as career development representative for the D.C. Metro area and as a reunion co-chair. She was on the working group for developing the Meet a Mawrter: 1,000 Coffees initiative and currently serves on the Career Connections Committee. She is active in several professional societies including the Association for Women in Science and volunteers as an audio textbook reader for Learning Ally.

Charlotte Hand Greeson '93 P '19

Charlotte, has served the Alumnae Association in various capacities since 2003, as admissions volunteer, regional club chair, ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Fund Chair, and most recently as parent of Beatrice '19. Charlotte has spent the past 24 years meeting Mawrters in various geographic locations, as she and her family followed the whims of the U.S. Navy.  She now finds herself back on the campus of Virginia Theological Seminary, in Alexandria, VA, where she has worked part time since 2012. Charlotte is the chief editor of the website Building Faith, where she recruits, curates and edits practical, replicable faith formation ideas for all ages. She is also the program coordinator for Thriving in Ministry, a Lilly Endowment, Inc funded program that brings clergy together for mentored, peer learning within contextual communities of practice. Charlotte credits the far-flung ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï alumnae/i community with keeping her intellectually curious and a vital part of every place she landed. She is committed to supporting alumnae/i and students through connecting and networking, skills she considers her superpowers.

Tracey Erickson Ohaus ’86, Committee on Leadership Development Chair, is a Registrar of Voters for Chester, CT and serves on the grants committee for Community Foundation of Middlesex County’s Sari A. Rosebaum Fund for Women & Girls. Her ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï volunteer experiences include Class Co-President, Committee for Leadership Development member and Annual Fund Committee member.
