Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics has been nationally recognized by the American Mathematical Society.

The Mathematics curriculum is designed to expose students to a wide spectrum of ideas in modern mathematics, train students in the art of logical reasoning and clear expression, and provide students with an appreciation of the beauty of the subject and of its vast applicability.

Our faculty are exceptional teachers and active research mathematicians who mentor students through independent research, internships, graduate school applications, and more.
